This is our darkest coffee blend, roasted in the Northern Italian Tradition.
A complex multi coffee bean blend, using the highest quality specialty grade coffees chosen for their abilities to enhance and meld together their complex flavors as well as stand up to the higher intensity of heat required for a dark Italian roast.
Tasting Notes: Sweet-toned, round, deep. Dark chocolate, roasted almond, ripe fig, lily, oak. Full, syrupy mouth feel. Chocolate and fig in particular carry into a resonant, balanced finish. Fills out three parts milk with authority: more rounded fig, chocolate and lily.
Who Should Drink It: Black Drop calls this a “traditional European style” coffee, and so it is. Lovers of traditional dark Northern Italian roast style coffee will love it. This makes it a mainstay offering for the Traditionalists.
